LEGAL & PRIVACY

Legal, privacy, and the boring stuff.

The terms under which this site operates, the data we collect, and how we use it. Plain English. No tricks.

Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These are the terms under which you may use the Cellsior website. By continuing to use this site, you agree to them.

Use of this website

You are welcome to use this website for personal and business purposes, including researching our services and getting in touch about work. You may not scrape, copy, or republish the site wholesale, and you may not misuse our contact forms or any other endpoints (for example, by sending spam, running automated submissions, or probing for vulnerabilities).

If you are accessing the site on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the copy, design, layout, and underlying code, is owned by Cellsior unless clearly stated otherwise. Third-party trademarks, logos, and case study materials remain the property of their respective owners and are shown with permission where relevant.

You may quote or link to pages on this site for commentary, review, or reference, provided you credit Cellsior and do not misrepresent the source.

Third-party links and services

This site embeds and links to third-party tools including Calendly (for scheduling calls) and Google Analytics (for anonymous usage statistics). It may also link out to client websites, case study sources, and other external resources.

Cellsior is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites and services. When you follow an external link or interact with an embedded tool, you are subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

No warranties

This website is provided on an as-is basis. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate and available, Cellsior does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every possible threat, or that any information on it will remain current. Use of the site is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cellsior excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. When we do, the revised version will be posted on this page. If you continue to use the site after an update, you accept the revised terms. If you disagree with a change, please stop using the site.

Privacy & Cookies

Privacy and Cookies

This section explains what personal data we collect when you use cellsior.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. Written in plain English, as it should be.

What we collect

When you submit our contact form we store the name, email address, company and message you give us, along with the enquiry type you select. We also store a few technical details alongside it: a one way hashed version of your IP address (used only to rate limit spam, and not reversible back to your address), how long the form took to complete (another spam signal), and, if you arrived from an advertisement, the click identifier and campaign details attached to that visit.

Separately, we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. That records page views, which sections of a page you reach, which links and buttons you use, your device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. It does not tell us who you are.

How we use it

We use your contact details solely to respond to your enquiry, and to follow up on any work we end up doing together. We use the analytics data to understand which pages are useful, which are not, and where to improve the site. Where an enquiry can be traced back to an advertisement, we use that to judge whether the advertising is worth running. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your privacy choices

Analytics and advertising storage are switched off by default when you first arrive. Nothing optional is stored until you choose it. The banner you see on your first visit lets you accept everything, decline everything, or pick per category, and your choice is remembered in a first party cookie for 180 days.

You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the privacy settings link in the site footer. While analytics consent is declined, Google may still receive an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed. It carries no identifiers and cannot be tied back to you or to a previous visit.

Cookies

The site uses the following cookies:

  • Essential site cookies, used to make the site work correctly. These are always active.
  • Your privacy choice (monolith_consent), a first party cookie recording what you accepted or declined. Kept for 180 days. Also always active, because remembering that you declined is the only way to keep honouring it.
  • Google Analytics (for example, _ga), used to measure anonymous usage statistics. Only set if you accept analytics.
  • Calendly, used when you open the booking widget to schedule a call.

You can also disable cookies in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the site (such as the Calendly booking widget) may not work as intended.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the UK or the EU, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or request a portable copy of the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@cellsior.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received, unless we have an active working relationship that requires us to keep them. Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which Google deletes the underlying event records.

International transfers

Some of the tools we use (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Calendly in particular) process data in the United States. All operate under approved transfer mechanisms, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or legal obligations change. The updated version will always be available on this page.

Your privacy choices

We use privacy-friendly analytics to see which pages help visitors find what they came for, and which ones get in the way. Accepting helps us make the site better. Declining changes nothing about what you can read or do here. Read our privacy notice.

Necessary storage keeps the site secure and remembers this choice. Analytics and marketing are optional and can be changed later.
