Best PPC agencies in the UK (2026)

A short, honest shortlist of the best PPC agencies in the UK, plus how to read past the marketing and pick the right Google Ads partner for your business.

The shortlist

Searching for the best PPC agency in the UK turns up dozens of lists that all rank the agency that wrote them at number one. This is one of those lists, so we will be straight with you about it. Below are real, UK-based Google Ads agencies worth a look, plus how to tell a good one from a good homepage.

We have put ourselves first because it is our site, and we would rather admit that than pretend a ranking is objective. The others are in no particular order. We describe each by what we can verify (where they are, what they focus on) and link straight to their site so you can judge for yourself. We have left out the self-reported "we cut their cost per lead by 60 percent" numbers, because we cannot check them and neither can you.

The shortlist

Cellsior

UK / remote

Best for ads, website and tracking together

We are a small UK studio that builds the website, the paid ads and the tracking as one job, rather than running ads at a landing page someone else made. That matters more than it sounds: most wasted ad spend goes to a page that does not convert or a conversion that was never tracked properly. We work mostly with UK SMEs, we set up the measurement first, and we will tell you when a tighter budget on fewer keywords beats a bigger one.

PPC Geeks

Knutsford, Cheshire

Best for paid media specialists

A Google Premier Partner that does paid media and nothing else, with offices in Knutsford, Liverpool, London and Kendal. If you want a team whose entire focus is PPC across Google, Microsoft and the social platforms, this is the specialist end of the market.

Pepper PPC Agency

Leeds and London

Best for a profit-over-traffic approach

A certified Google partner based in Leeds with a London office, pitching a "profit over traffic" model across search, shopping, display and Amazon. A good fit if you care about what the spend returns rather than how many clicks it buys.

Gorilla Marketing

Manchester

Best for the Northern Powerhouse

A Manchester Google Ads agency with offices across the north of England, focused on PPC built around booked revenue and pipeline rather than vanity metrics. Worth a look if you are a northern business that wants a local team running the campaigns.

Vixen Digital

Brighton

Best for PPC alongside SEO and analytics

A Brighton agency that runs Google Ads as part of a wider mix with SEO, paid social and analytics. A sensible option if you want one team handling paid and organic together rather than splitting them across suppliers.

How to read past the marketing

Every agency on every list sounds excellent on its own homepage. Here is how to tell them apart when you actually talk to them.

  • Ask who owns the account. Your Google Ads account should be yours, not theirs. If you cannot take it with you when you leave, that is a red flag, not an admin detail.
  • Ask how they charge. A flat monthly fee and a percentage of ad spend pull in different directions. Percentage of spend gives the agency a reason to push your budget up. Know which one you are signing.
  • Ask what they track, and how. Ads are only as good as the conversion data behind them. If they cannot explain your tracking setup in plain English, they are flying blind and so are you.
  • Ask where the clicks land. A brilliant campaign pointed at a weak page still loses money. The best results come from fixing the ad and the landing page together.
  • Ask for one thing they talked a client out of. An honest agency has a story about telling someone to pause a campaign or cut a keyword. A pure salesperson does not.
